Vectorizing Logos: A Step-by-Step Guide

Your logo needs to work everywhere — from a tiny favicon to a massive billboard. Vector format is the only way to guarantee it looks sharp at every size.

Step 1: Start With a Clean Source

Export your logo as PNG at the highest resolution available. 1000px or more on the longest side is ideal.

Step 2: Remove the Background

If your logo has a solid background, remove it first. A transparent PNG produces much cleaner SVG output.

Step 3: Convert

Go to convertsvg.net, upload your PNG, and download the SVG. Use Color mode for full-color logos, B&W for simple two-tone designs.

Step 4: Edit if Needed

Open the SVG in Figma, Illustrator, or Inkscape. You can tweak paths, merge overlapping shapes, or adjust colors.
